That day comes to everyone, including a high metabolism boney person such as myself.

At the age of 27+, my tummy is not as flat as it used to be.

I still do the same amount of exercise and gym workouts and i eat as much as i used to.

I sleep earlier and i don’t even do late nights and clubbing sessions no more.

My lifestyle has improved and i still maintain the same amount of exercise i do per week, so, what is wrong?

Something must be sacrificed to have the body of a 21 year old even at the age of 35, 40 or even 60.

Something must be sacrificed since my metabolism has gone down.

This is the part of life (The age) that separates those who are born effortlessly beautiful versus those who choose to maintain their looks.

After all that indirect self flattering crap about how i shall maintain my physique till 60, i shall announce what i have been working on :

1. A Strict Diet

A strict healthy diet requires willpower and determination.

I am always beguiled at women who seem to give up on their own looks when they start to balloon.

Its like they really don’t care.

2. Eating home cooked food

Yes, i have been learning to cook. I used to think that cooking was never worth the effort as a plate of chicken rice of $3 always saved the effort of cooking, cleaning and marketing.

I overlooked the fact of the healthy benefit home cooked food always had over outside food. If converted into monetary terms, this benefit would be worth more.

Being young and energetic, i never knew that this issue would plague me someday.

3. Ignoring the common people’s comments

The world is full of people who criticise others who are not in sync with them.

I have learned that having a bowl of salad or fruits during lunch will eventually invite some unnecessary comments from the uninformed and uninspired.

There will be people who say “Its ok lah, you are still young”. One tip, look at their physique. You don’t want to think “It’s ok” and end up like them.

Just because someone lived their life in a certain way does not mean that you have to.

The best i could do is to not try and influence them to my way of life.

Yes, i am “Stressing over my own life and not know how to enjoy life with food”.

So be it. I’d be stupid if i am suffering for nothing.

I don’t really think i am suffering anyway. I feel good eating healthy.

I know God’s with me on this when i realised that theres a Salad/Sandwich/Fruit restaurant just below my office.

To do that, one has to have goals.

Goals have you focused on the things that matter and the things that don’t.

Being able to do that makes making decisions crystal clear.

You’ll decide based on what benefits your goals and what don’t.

You don’t have to be anal and reject everything that doesn’t benefit you. But it does help to exterminate the events that that up the most time, yet benefits nothing.

Church is like family in a way. The support it gives is identical to one who grew up in a complete and whole family. I wouldn’t know what it is like to grow up in a complete family, but I sure felt a certain void being completely filled today.

I hope to participate more and understand what being spiritually whole, being stable and fully secure about oneself would be like.
Everything about this year has just been so good. Sermons are just so awesome.

I am not a huge lover of these boxes. They are large, cumbersome and too serious for my taste. Owning a car is every male’s dream though. In all it’s sleek appeal, style and  splendor, it screams for attention and a shoutout of maturity as one is able to pay off the hefty installment plan.

Thus, in the search of my own box that would represent who i am, here are my first look into cars that i might like.

Why. Convertibles are a number choice for me as i enjoy, largely, feeling the wind in my hair. Driving in a normal car with the frames of the top half of the car blocking the blind spots has always irritated me. I’m an avid fan of checking blind spots and the window frames of a car distracts my attention each time i look over my shoulder.

I’m not a fan of sports cars and i love all things practical. C’mon, do we have long distances in town to be driving a sports car in?

I do factor style over many things though, thus a love for all things vintage.

I love attention too, but in a different sense. I’m probably wrong, but, somehow, i do feel vintage car owners ooze a sleek appeal and that sports car owners tend to be really childish snobbish people. This kind of cars project who i want others to perceive me.

Though i love all things practical, the downside of such vintage cars is the lack of ease of maintenance as parts are difficult to obtain. Given the age of the car, it also means a slew of problems that i would be taking over.
